Custom Itinerary

On Salty Girl, every charter is special. The list below includes popular spots, as well as some lesser known secluded bays. With so many choices, many leave the daily agenda to us after requesting a few highlights. With so much to see and experience, one could come to the Virgin Islands for years!

Wind, water, weather and Government mandates may alter your itinerary, but the beauty of the Islands never disappoints.

Our website is growing with the addition of our 4K camera and drone. Please check back as we add video and pictures of our favorite spots.

St John

St John has so much to offer. Turtles, eagle rays, star fish, conch, and the occasional dolphin or humpback whale can be found. Great short hikes for every skill level too! Secluded bays for private time, away from the tourist crowd is sure to delight. Fishing is free for all outside the national park.

Norman Island

Norman, often called Treasure Island, is the real setting for Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. Stevenson visited Norman and Dead Man's Chest (Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rum!) before returning to the mainland to write his famous pirate novel, based on facts and lore. Swim into the caves that Ben Gunn hid treasure or snorkel the Indians, a well known spot for calm days.

Norman is also home to the famous Willy T's. Willy T's wild nights of debauchery are legendary. Lesser known is their family friendly lunch and afternoon offerings.

Cooper Island

Cooper Island's Beach Resort holds many attractions for cruisers. Acclaimed food, micro brewery, coffee shop, dive shop, rum bar, and gift shop lure visitors our of the fish filled waters.

Salt Island, next door, is home to the wreck of the Rhone, and fcinating snuba spot.

Virgin Gorda

VG is most photographed island of the BVI's, mostly due to the famous "Bath's" rock formations and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Experience the Baths through swimming/short hike at this BVI National Park. An island tour and lunch round out this glorious island stop.

Marina Cay/Scrub Island

Marina Cay is a charming spot for a quick, informal bite to eat. Excellent snorkeling. Actual home of the Famous love story “Virgin Island,” made into a movie staring Sydney Poitier.

Scrub Island Marriott Resort is a welcomed slice of luxury and an easy spot to catch a ferry for the nearby airport at Beef Island.

Hosting the capital of the BVI's, Road Town, Tortola is the most populated island of the nation. Cane Garden has a delightful beach vibe and Reggae music.

Jost Van Dyke

A must stop for those of legal age. Let Foxy entertain you with his bawdy ballads, or chill out at Soggy Dollar and Peace Love Bars. Great gift shops too!

Known as the sunken island, Anegada is home to pink flamingos and, and of course, lots of lobster! Beautiful beaches reward one for the long sail from Virgin Gorda. Recommended for adventures over 7 days due to it's remote location.

Sandy Cay/Spit

Famed site for Corona beer commercial, and, for those old enough to remember, Gilligan's Island clips. We like to stop here early in the day for breakfast vista's.

Little Jost

Remote snorkel stop

Christmas Cove

The private island of Little St James is home this USVI gem, hosting the floating pizza parlor, Pizza PI. Known as a favorite of day sail snorkel outings, the fish do not disappoint.
